Well, this week I managed to do something I work very hard to help my clients avoid. 😂 I lost the thread of my own story. I was working on a podcast episode about the origin of Just One Woo. I had the story, the lesson, the conviction, the excitement, 15 minutes of voice memo’ed thoughts. Basically an entire episode. And then out of habit, I plugged it into AI for feedback. 20 minutes in, I had more talking points, more angles, more things to consider…and somehow, a lot less excitement about telling the story. That’s what happens when we automatically ask for feedback, even when we don’t need it. The more input we invite, the further we can get from what we actually want to do or say.
Getting feedback isn’t the problem. Automatically seeking feedback, or holding back our ideas until we feel like we have enough validation to have confidence in them… that's a problem. All of this to say... don’t outsource your creativity, and don’t lose the plot! Ok, that's my PSA for the week. If I can be of help to you, you can find me here. Have a great spooky weekend! THIS WEEK ON THE PODWhen We've Lost The PlotIn trying to make our ideas better, we can lose the very thing that made us excited about them in the first place. This week, we're talking about how automatically seeking feedback and validation are disconnecting us from our own instincts, ideas and creative confidence. LISTEN HERE

Last week, I told you how I lost the plot on my own story. 😂 Quick recap: I had a whole episode about how Just One Woo came to be. Then I handed it to AI for feedback and talked myself right out of the excitement. Well, this week it's finally out. The story is about the years I spent keeping two parts of myself in separate boxes. The spiritual side - energy, intuition, all the woo things - over here. The structured marketing career over there. I felt certain that if I let both sides show up...
